Learn With Flashcards, Quizzes, and Mind Maps

Turn notes, PDFs, and study material into interactive flashcards, scored quiz sessions, and expandable mind maps inside Losi chat.

When you need to learn, revise, or teach a topic, Losi can turn source material into interactive study tools right in the chat: flippable flashcards, quiz sessions with scoring, and mind maps that show how ideas connect.

Start from a PDF, note, lecture outline, or pasted chapter summary. Ask for the format that matches how you study — drill with cards, test yourself with a quiz, or map the structure of a topic before you memorize details.

What you get in chat

  • Flashcards: question on one side, answer on the other — flip the card, then mark whether you knew it.
  • Quiz questions: multiple-choice items with explanations after you answer.
  • Quiz sessions: a grouped set of questions with progress and a score when you finish.
  • Mind maps: a hierarchical map of concepts you can expand and collapse while you review.

These study tools appear as interactive blocks in the message. Use them in the chat where you generated them so your context stays with the material.

Start from notes or a PDF

1

Bring the source in

Upload a PDF or study file, open a Space note, or paste the section you want to learn. Keep the scope tight — one chapter, lecture, or concept cluster works better than an entire textbook dump.

2

Say how you want to study

Ask for flashcards, a quiz session, a mind map, or a mix. Mention exam style, difficulty, and what to emphasize.

3

Study in the chat

Flip cards, answer quiz questions, and expand mind-map branches. Use the confidence or score feedback to see what still needs work.

4

Ask for a second pass

After a quiz or card set, ask Losi to regenerate only the weak areas, add harder questions, or turn the mind map into a shorter drill deck.

Example prompts

  • "From this PDF, make 12 flashcards on the key definitions. Keep answers short."
  • "Create a 10-question quiz session from these notes. Medium difficulty, with explanations."
  • "Build a mind map of this chapter’s main ideas and subtopics I should revise first."
  • "Turn this lecture outline into flashcards first, then a short quiz on the hardest parts."
  • "I got these wrong — make five new cards that drill only those concepts."

Good study workflows

Use a mind map when you need the big picture. Use flashcards when you need recall. Use a quiz session when you want a scored check before a meeting, class, or exam.

For shared study groups, put the source material in a Space, generate the study set in chat, and keep follow-up tasks or review notes with the project.

  • Mind map → flashcards → quiz for a full first pass.
  • Quiz first when you want to find gaps before you drill.
  • Ask Losi to extract action items only when the material is also a project — otherwise stay in study mode.

Tips for better results

  • Name the audience: "for a first-year student," "for a certification exam," or "for teaching my team."
  • Limit the source: one file section or note beats an unfocused dump.
  • Ask for explanations on quiz items so mistakes become teaching moments.
  • Review generated answers against the source before you trust them for a graded exam.
  • Save useful decks or maps by keeping the chat or moving key notes into a Space.
