Share Chats and Remix Work
Create a public chat link, let viewers ask a follow-up, and continue the useful parts in their own Losi chat.
A shared chat is a snapshot people can open without rebuilding the whole conversation. Viewers can read what happened, ask a follow-up, and save the useful parts into their own Losi session.
Use share when a decision, draft, or research thread should travel as a link. Keep private work private, and update or remove the public link when the conversation moves on.
Create a public chat link
Open the chat you want to share
Go to /chat and open a personal conversation that already has messages. Group chats cannot be shared with a public link.
Open Share chat
Use the Share control in the chat header. If the chat is already public, the control shows as a public link affordance instead.
Make public and copy the link
Choose Make public, then Create. Losi builds a link at /chat/share/... based on the latest shared message. Copy it, or share it to LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, or X from the same dialog.
Update or remove access later
Open Share again and choose Update after new messages if you want the public snapshot to include the latest turn. Choose Make private / Remove public link when the link should stop working.
What viewers can do
Anyone with the public link lands on /chat/share/... and sees the shared snapshot. From there they can ask a follow-up against that snapshot, then save or continue the conversation in Losi.
- Read the shared messages as a frozen snapshot of the chat.
- Ask a follow-up from the Continue this conversation panel.
- Save this chat after a follow-up answer, or continue in /try.
- Create your own chat like this when they want a fresh start inspired by the shared thread.
Share to the team feed
If the chat belongs to a workspace, Share chat also includes Share to team feed. That posts a frozen snapshot to Shared chats at /spaces/shared-chats. The team feed copy does not keep updating when the original conversation continues.
Use a public link for people outside the workspace. Use team feed when teammates should find the snapshot inside Shared chats.
Remix the useful parts
- Ask viewers to leave one follow-up that tests the shared answer before they save it.
- After saving, continue in Losi and move durable output into a Space note or task list.
- Re-share with Update when the decision changes, or make the chat private when the link should expire.
- Share finished reasoning and drafts, not chats that still contain secrets or unfinished private context.
